THE REVELATION
A VERSE BY VERSE COMMENTARY
I started studying for the ministry in 1992.  I received my minister’s license in 1994 and my ordination in 1996.
I started studying Revelation in 1994 and began teaching it at the church I attended in 1996.  I have been researching and teaching about end time prophecy off and on since.
I have taken my teaching notes and put them into this book.  This is why you will come across places that sound more like someone talking to a class then writing a book.
My goal was to try and take what is known and make it as uncomplicated as possible.
I have no theological diplomas’ just a love for researching God’s word.

What I Believe
I believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God (God-breathed), and accept the same as the only infallible guide and rule of our faith and practice. God's Word is eternally true and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness.   2 Timothy 3:16

I believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

I believe in the creation and fall of man as recorded in Genesis: his total spiritual depravity and inability to attain to divine righteousness.

I believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His  atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory.

I believe Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day, and personally appeared to His disciples.

I believe that Christ is the perfect Lamb of God, foreordained from the foundation of the world, and by the shedding of His blood on the cross, made provision for salvation of all men.

I believe in the salvation of sinners by grace, that because of mankind's total inability to save himself, salvation is by God's grace alone.  It is received through sincere godly repentance, and whole-hearted acceptance of Jesus Christ as one's personal Savior; through being born again, or spiritual rebirth, one becomes a new creature in Christ Jesus.

I believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance and in the operation of the spiritual gifts and ministries.

I believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit, the Helper, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

I believe in eternal life for believers and eternal punishment for unbelievers - the literal existence of Heaven and Hell, in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved to eternal life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

I believe in the church of Jesus Christ and in the unity of believers and the need to fellowship for spiritual growth and strengthening.

I believe in the practical application of the Christian faith in everyday experience and the need to minister to people in every area of life, which includes not only the spiritual, but also the social, emotional and physical.
